Welcome to the Bodies blog. It is designed to help provide starting points for lines of enquiry that you will pursue during your project. The blog is organised into separate pages by theme. Each page has examples of artists or cultural practices relevant, but not limited, to the category. We urge you to explore the whole of the blog even if the titles of the pages do not immediately stir your interest. The focus of this blog is to provide a range of examples. It is in no way an exhaustive list and should not be your only source of information or line of research.

When you look at the artists on a page think about why they have been included. For instance,take the Portrait Photography page. What is Pieter Hugo's work an example of and why has it been included alongside that of Nan Goldin, Gillian Wearing, Claude Cahun, Cindy Sherman, John Coplans and Zhang Xiao?
